The 9-part picture cycle traces the path taken by the members of the Palestinian terrorist organization "Black September" on September 5, 1972, during the Summer Olympics in Munich, and stormed the living quarters of the Israeli team and eleven team members took hostage. All eleven Israeli hostages, one policeman and five terrorists were killed in the course of the hostage-taking.
