The young artist (...) overdraws catalog sheets and posters with a thick Edding line, which makes the aesthetics appear comic-like, sometimes woodcut-like, but always powerful and expressive. She doesn't leave much of the cheerful shallowness of the fashion shots. (...) The artist (...) does not shy away from letting her imagination run rampant like overfertilized dandelion, which squeezes through the smallest cracks - not towards the light, but rather in the direction of the abyss. In this way, Barbara Trommeter leads the viewer into a fascinating and often disturbing world."
